First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether a single dose of the steroid dexamethasone, given during nasal surgery, can improve sleep quality on the first night after the operation. About 100 adults having nasal surgery under general anesthesia will be randomly assigned to receive either dexamethasone or a placebo. The main goal is to see if the drug leads to better sleep, measured by a standard sleep questionnaire.
