Summary

This study is testing whether a device that delivers a mild electrical current behind the ears can help reduce the symptoms of opioid withdrawal. It involves 108 adults with opioid use disorder who want to stop using opioids without taking other medications. Participants use the device for up to a week while in a treatment center, and researchers check if it eases withdrawal discomfort and helps people stay off opioids for 12 weeks after.
