New device aims to stop deadly blood clots before they form
NCT ID NCT05511064
Summary
This study tested a medical device designed to improve blood circulation in the legs of people at high risk for dangerous blood clots (deep vein thrombosis or DVT). The goal was to see if using the device for 10 days in a clinic, and then for about 3 months at home, could safely increase blood flow. Researchers measured blood flow and leg swelling in 60 adult participants to see if the device helped.
