Scientists test if massage and TENS devices can boost leg circulation

NCT ID NCT06590610

Summary

This study tested two medical devices to see if they could temporarily improve blood flow in the legs of healthy volunteers. Twenty participants had one device that uses pressure waves and another that uses gentle electrical stimulation applied to their calf muscles. Researchers used an ultrasound machine to measure changes in blood speed and volume during and after the treatments.
