Tiny trial tests daily pill for painful hand and foot skin disease

NCT ID NCT05710185

Summary

This study tested a daily pill called deucravacitinib for adults with a severe, chronic skin condition that causes painful pustules on the palms and soles. The goal was to see if the treatment could reduce skin symptoms by at least 50% and improve patients' quality of life over 24 weeks. The trial was very small and was terminated early, so its results are limited.
