Summary
This study tests the safety of adding an experimental drug (MPDL3280A) to standard chemotherapy and radiation for people with non-small cell lung cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. About 52 participants will receive the combination therapy at MD Anderson Cancer Center. The main goal is to see if the new drug causes serious side effects, and researchers will also track how long the cancer stays under control.
