New MRI method spots chemo heart damage early
NCT ID NCT07528586
First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests whether special MRI scans can find early signs of heart damage in cancer patients receiving anthracycline chemotherapy. Current tests often miss this damage until it's advanced. About 93 participants will have MRI scans before, during, and after treatment to see if the MRI can detect changes sooner.
