Hospital study seeks better way to spot 'Superbugs'
NCT ID NCT07487116
Summary
This study aims to test a simpler lab method for detecting bacteria that are resistant to a last-resort antibiotic called colistin. Researchers will collect bacteria samples from 90 hospitalized patients with hard-to-treat infections. They will compare the new test against the current standard method to see if it works reliably.
