New imaging method may spot tumor progression earlier than standard scans
NCT ID NCT06224283
First seen May 16, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether a special MRI analysis called radiomics can predict if a desmoid tumor will grow back after cryoablation (freezing treatment). Desmoid tumors are non-cancerous but can be painful and aggressive. The study will compare radiomics to standard size-based criteria in 21 people to see which method spots progression earlier.
