Summary
This study looked at whether shared medical appointments (group visits) are an acceptable way to care for youth with type 2 diabetes. Researchers designed four group activities on nutrition, peer support, exercise, and stress management, and created a clinic workflow. 53 teens and their caregivers attended quarterly visits and took surveys to compare this approach to standard care.
