First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study looks at whether applying a desensitizing agent called Gluma can help reduce tooth sensitivity after a cavity is filled. Sixty adults aged 18 to 45 with cavities in their back teeth will be randomly assigned to receive either the desensitizer plus standard bonding or standard bonding alone. Their pain levels will be measured right after the procedure and again at 1 week, 1 month, and 3 months.
