Summary

This study tested a combination of two drugs, daratumumab and belatacept, in 5 highly sensitized dialysis patients waiting for a kidney transplant. The goal was to reduce harmful antibodies that make it nearly impossible to find a compatible donor kidney. The trial was terminated early, but the approach aimed to improve transplant access and outcomes for these patients.
