Sanding away the scars: can a simple procedure make surgical marks less noticeable?
NCT ID NCT07233200
Summary
This study is testing whether a procedure called serial dermabrasion can safely make scars look better for people who have had reconstructive head and neck surgery. It will involve 40 adults who have a healed skin flap or donor site scar. The researchers will treat only half of each scar and compare it to the untreated half to see if there's an aesthetic improvement.
