Blood test may guide better depression drug choices
NCT ID NCT07269886
Summary
This study tested whether a computer tool could help doctors pick the right antidepressant medication for each patient. The tool used a person's blood test results, genetic information, and health history to suggest treatments. Researchers compared patients whose doctors used the tool to those who received standard care to see if it led to faster or better improvement in depression symptoms.
