Summary
This study is testing whether two simple programs can help reduce depression in elderly women in India. Over 5,000 women aged 55 and older will receive either one-on-one talk therapy, group social activities, both, or neither. The goal is to see if these community-led programs can improve mood, daily functioning, and overall well-being.
