New hope for depression when standard meds Aren't enough

NCT ID NCT06911112

Summary

This study is testing whether adding an investigational drug called NBI-1065845 to a person's current antidepressant medication helps reduce depression symptoms more effectively. It's for adults with moderate-to-severe major depression who haven't gotten enough relief from their current antidepressant treatment alone. Participants will continue taking their regular antidepressant and will be randomly assigned to also receive either the study drug or a placebo for 8 weeks to compare results.
