New depression pill DT120 shows promise in phase 3 trial

Summary
This study tests an experimental oral medication called DT120 for adults with major depressive disorder. About 165 participants will receive either DT120 or a placebo for 12 weeks, followed by a 40-week period where everyone can take the drug. The main goal is to see if DT120 reduces depression symptoms better than placebo, measured by a standard rating scale.
