Summary
This research study aims to understand why older adults with depression often experience memory problems and faster cognitive decline. Researchers will observe 120 participants with late-life depression, using brain scans, memory tests, and blood samples over 30 months to look for patterns. This is an observational study only—no treatments are being tested.
