First seen Nov 24, 2025 · Last updated May 29, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study tested whether carving a special mark on the back of lower dentures (the retromolar pad area) helps new denture wearers feel more satisfied and improves their quality of life. Fifty adults who had never worn dentures before tried both a marked and an unmarked lower denture. The results showed that the marked denture improved comfort and satisfaction with eating, speaking, and taste.
