Summary
This study tested whether two over-the-counter gels could make dentures more comfortable and secure for older adults. Researchers asked 67 denture wearers to try MI Paste (a calcium-rich paste) and Biotene Dry Mouth Gel under their dentures and report on comfort, fit, and dry mouth symptoms. The goal was to find simple, non-invasive ways to improve daily life for people with missing teeth.
