Could 'Tunnel Vision' be causing dental errors?
NCT ID NCT07266909
Summary
This study aims to understand how 'attentional tunneling'—a type of tunnel vision where a dentist focuses too narrowly on one problem—affects patient care and safety in France. Researchers will survey 160 French dental practitioners, including professors, surgeons, and interns, using questionnaires. The goal is to measure awareness of this risk and gather ideas on how to prevent it.
