Do future dentists have healthier teeth than future doctors?
NCT ID NCT07425860
Summary
This study aimed to understand if dental and medical students have different levels of gum and tooth health, and how that affects their daily lives. Researchers examined 400 healthy undergraduate students, checking for plaque, gum inflammation, cavities, and asking about their oral health-related quality of life. The goal was to see if students' field of study is linked to their oral health and well-being.
