Could a dental cleaning help your heart?
NCT ID NCT07036289
Summary
This study is testing whether professional dental cleaning for gum disease (periodontitis) can help control heart failure. Researchers will measure a key blood marker of heart failure in about 80 adults with both conditions over 6 months. The goal is to see if treating the gums improves heart health markers and reduces disease severity.
