Scientists probe how diabetes affects healing after dental surgery
NCT ID NCT07389772
Summary
This study aims to understand how different dental cleaning techniques affect the body's immune response during a repeat root canal procedure. It will compare 90 participants—half with Type 2 diabetes and half without—to see if methods like ultrasonic or laser cleaning change inflammation levels differently in each group. The goal is to gather knowledge that may help improve future dental treatments for people with diabetes.
