New Tooth-Saving paste tested against standard in kids
NCT ID NCT07324928
Summary
This study compares two materials used to save baby teeth with deep cavities. In a procedure called a pulpotomy, dentists remove the infected part of the tooth's nerve and place a special material to help the healthy part heal. Researchers are testing a newer, easier-to-use bioceramic putty against a standard material (ferric sulphate) in 60 children to see which works better over six months.
