New dental tool tested to zap root canal pain
NCT ID NCT07357233
Summary
This study aims to see if a newer, faster root canal cleaning method causes less pain after the procedure than the standard method. Researchers will enroll 34 adults with painful tooth infections and randomly assign them to receive one of the two techniques. They will measure patients' pain levels and check for specific chemicals linked to pain in fluid from the tooth to see if the new method is better.
