Summary
This study aimed to understand the complex nature of dental pain by looking at connections between stress, inflammation, and pain signals. Researchers measured specific chemicals in saliva and tooth pulp from 72 adults with and without tooth pain. They also assessed participants' stress and anxiety levels to see how psychological factors relate to physical pain and inflammation in teeth.
