Dentists test High-Tech tool to reduce Kids' root canal pain

NCT ID NCT07181252

Summary

This study aimed to see if using an electronic device to measure a tooth's root canal causes less pain after treatment in children compared to the standard method using digital X-rays. Researchers treated 130 children aged 10-15 who needed a root canal and randomly assigned them to have their tooth measured with one of the two tools. They then tracked the children's pain levels for a week after the procedure to compare the results.
