Can a High-Tech syringe make your dental visit less painful?
NCT ID NCT07431801
Summary
This study tested whether a new electronic syringe causes less pain and stress than a standard syringe when giving numbing shots for dental procedures. It involved 40 healthy people who needed a tooth pulled for braces. Researchers measured the patients' self-reported pain and their heart rate variability, which indicates stress, during the injection.
