This study looked at whether treating the dental cause of chronic maxillary sinusitis with dental procedures and medication could resolve symptoms. Only 16 patients were enrolled before the study was terminated. The main goal was to see if symptoms disappeared and pus cleared from the nasal passage. Because the trial stopped early, the findings are limited.
