New kit could make dental recovery less scary and more successful
NCT ID NCT07191132
Summary
This study tested if a special education kit could help people better understand and follow care instructions after a tooth extraction, and also reduce their anxiety. Researchers compared 208 adults who got either standard verbal instructions or those same instructions plus a kit with a video, flashcards, and a brochure. They checked if the kit improved patients' knowledge, their follow-through on care, and their anxiety levels one week later.
