Summary
This study looked at 44 adults who needed a single dental implant in the back of the mouth and had a small bone gap (less than 3mm) on the cheek side. Participants were randomly assigned to get either a soft tissue graft or a bone regeneration procedure. Researchers measured changes in gum shape and bone levels 3 months after surgery and 12 months after the crown was placed.
