NCT ID NCT04712565
First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tested whether a new sloped dental implant can keep bone and gum tissue healthy without the need for a bone graft. 40 adults with a missing tooth received either a standard implant with a bone graft or a sloped implant without one. Researchers measured bone levels and implant success over time to see if the simpler approach works just as well.
