Gap size matters: new dental implant study seeks perfect fit for stronger smiles
NCT ID NCT07509476
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether the distance between a new dental implant and the surrounding bone (called the jumping gap) changes how thick the bone stays over time. About 22 adults with a broken front tooth will get an implant, and researchers will measure bone thickness using 3D scans. Participants will have checkups every 3 months for a year to see how the bone and gum tissue heal.
