New dental gel tested to build bone for implants

NCT ID NCT07367217

Summary

This study tested a special gel made from a patient's own blood to help grow new bone in the upper jaw. It was for people who needed dental implants but had too little bone below the sinus. Researchers followed 32 patients for two years to see how well the implants held and how much new bone grew.
