New dental attachment aims to save jawbone and improve bite

NCT ID NCT07241481

Summary

This study compares two types of attachments that connect dental implants to lower dentures. Researchers want to see which one better preserves jawbone and distributes biting force more evenly. The trial involves 24 patients aged 55-60 who have lost all their lower teeth. Participants receive two implants and are randomly assigned either a traditional ball attachment or a newer Equator attachment for their denture.
