Summary
This study compared two different types of membranes used during immediate dental implant placement to help control bone healing. Forty patients needing a back lower tooth replaced received an implant right after extraction, along with one of the two membrane types. Researchers followed patients for two years to see which membrane better supported implant stability and healing.
