First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looked at 20 people who needed dental implants in their lower jaw because they had no teeth there. Researchers compared implants that were immediately used for chewing (loaded) with those that were left to heal first (non-loaded). The goal was to gather information on how well the implants survived, how the bone healed, and how satisfied patients were, to help improve future dental implant care.
