Dental study tests: let it heal naturally or add bone graft?
NCT ID NCT07460648
Summary
This study compared two approaches for preparing the jawbone for a dental implant after a tooth is removed. Researchers tested whether letting the area heal naturally works as well as adding a bone graft material. The study involved 24 healthy adults and measured how much soft tissue grew into the healing area over 6 months.
