Tiny needles tested to build stronger gums for dental implants

NCT ID NCT07294287

Summary

This study is testing if a gentle technique called microneedling, sometimes combined with a patient's own growth factors, can improve the health and thickness of gums around dental implants. It will involve 20 young adults who have thin gums around their front upper teeth implants. Researchers will compare the results of the two approaches over six months to see which works better for strengthening the gum tissue.
