Dentists track how fast gums shift when implant crowns come out
NCT ID NCT06783595
Summary
This study aims to understand how quickly the gums change shape after a temporary dental implant crown is removed. Researchers will scan the gum area around the implant immediately after crown removal and several times over 15 minutes to measure any shifts. The goal is to help dentists know the best timing for taking impressions when making replacement crowns, to ensure a good aesthetic fit.
