Dental study tests best way to secure your new tooth

NCT ID NCT04707716

Summary

This study compared three methods for attaching a single crown to a dental implant: screw-retained, cemented, or using the Acuris system. It followed 39 adults for a year to see which method best maintained healthy bone and gum tissue around the implant while minimizing complications. Researchers measured bone levels, inflammation markers, and patient satisfaction to determine the most effective and reliable attachment technique.
