New tools tested to build jawbone for stronger dental implants

NCT ID NCT07160309

Summary

This study tested two different dental tools designed to gently expand a thin jawbone so it can better support a dental implant. Researchers compared a special drill (Densah Bur) and a vibrating device (Magnetic Mallet) in 5 patients with narrow jaw ridges. The goal was to see which method better prepares the bone for a secure implant without needing a major bone graft.
