Scientists probe why some people hurt more after dental grafts
NCT ID NCT07377370
Summary
This study aims to understand why some people experience more pain than others after a common dental procedure where a small piece of gum tissue is taken from the roof of the mouth. Researchers will follow 93 patients having this surgery, collecting detailed information about their pain levels, personality, anxiety, and how their mouth heals. The goal is to identify which factors most influence recovery pain to help dentists provide more personalized care and better manage discomfort.
