Summary
This study compared two methods for placing tooth-colored fillings in back teeth to treat cavities. Researchers wanted to see if fillings made in a lab (indirect) performed better over time than those placed directly in the mouth. They followed 90 adults for a year, checking the fillings for wear, color match, and new decay.
