Scientists test new fillings that fight bacteria

NCT ID NCT07330193

Summary

This study followed 10 young adults for two years to see how well four different types of flowable (easy-to-place) dental fillings performed. Researchers checked the fillings' durability and also tested their ability to release minerals and fight bacteria in the lab. The goal was to find which material works best for small cavities on chewing surfaces.
