Dentists probe hidden effects of deep fillings
NCT ID NCT07156695
Summary
This study aims to understand how a specific dental procedure for deep cavities, called Deep Marginal Elevation (DME), affects the health of the surrounding gums and bone. Researchers will enroll 36 adults needing this filling and monitor them for one month by taking fluid samples from their gums and dental X-rays. The goal is to gather information on inflammation and bone changes to see if the procedure is safe for the surrounding tissues.
