Summary

This study tests two cavity treatment methods—selective removal and stepwise removal—in 666 children and teens aged 8 to 19 with deep cavities. The goal is to see which approach better keeps the tooth alive and healthy for at least one year, avoiding the need for a root canal. Participants will be followed for up to three years using dental records.
