New patch tested to help heal dental bone grafts

NCT ID NCT06871735

Summary

This study is observing patients who need a dental bone graft before getting an implant. Sometimes, after placing the graft, the gum tissue cannot fully cover the area. The study will compare healing in patients where a special collagen patch is placed over the exposed graft versus when it is not. The goal is to see if the patch leads to better healing and fewer complications.
