New pill schedule aims to ease side effects for colon cancer patients

Summary
This study tests a different way of taking the chemotherapy pill capecitabine for colorectal cancer. Instead of the standard schedule, patients take the drug for 7 days followed by 7 days off. The goal is to see if this pattern improves quality of life. About 100 patients with good performance status are enrolled.
